As we reported earlier today, WWE has decided to re-implement a variation of the much-maligned "Wild Card Rule," which will allow Superstars from Raw to make guest appearances on SmackDown, and vice versa.
Last night, Drew McIntyre revealed that the blue brand's resident monarch King Baron Corbin (shouldn't he be in trial for murder?) will be on Raw next week to face-off against the dominant WWE Champion in singles action. The Scottish Psychopath seemed to relish the prospect of getting his hands on Corbin, who is widely disliked in both locker rooms (kayfabe... probably).
In addition, The IICONICS will get an opportunity to regain the WWE Women's Tag-team Championships when they go up against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay made their long-awaited return on Raw last night, and managed to defeat Bliss Cross in a non-title bout, setting up next Monday's Championship confrontation.
Will the entertaining Aussie duo manage to become 2-time Tag-Team Champions? Tune in next week to find out.
