SMACKDOWN's Bayley Will Be Out For NINE MONTHS After Sustaining Injury During Training Session

Bayley has spent the past couple of months feuding with SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair, and she was supposed to challenge for the title at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV.

Unfortunately, that won't be happening, because WWE has confirmed today that she's suffered an injury.

"WWE Digital has learned that Bayley sustained an injury while training for her WWE Money in the Bank match against Bianca Belair and will be out approximately nine months," reads a statement shared on the company's website. As for what this means for Money in the Bank, it's said: "A suitable replacement for the SmackDown Women's Title Match will be announced tonight on FOX."

This is obviously horrible news for Bayley, and it's a real shame she's going to be sidelined for such a long time. She probably won't even be back in time for WrestleMania, and now misses that, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble among other major WWE PPVs.

Perhaps most disappointing for Bayley will be the fact she misses out on competing in front of fans as they're set to return to SmackDown a week from today.

We'll be sure to keep you guys updated as soon as a replacement is named for Money in the Bank and wish Bayley a speedy recovery after this unfortunate injury.
