We're just hours away from Money in the Bank and last night's SmackDown saw Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton make their way to the ring ahead of their match with The Bloodline at tonight's PLE.
The American Nightmare told fans he's ready for a fight, while The Viper promised to end Solo Sikoa's heel faction with one of his patented RKOs.
As for Owens, he revealed that his dad called him on Monday morning to tell him his mother had been rushed to the hospital. KO explained that he's spent the past five days by her side in the Quebec hospital where he was born and said that she's fighting like hell.
Acknowledging that he could have quite easily stayed home, an emotional Owens said his mom wouldn't want him to miss a show because of her and he'll now give it his all and beat the living hell out of The Bloodline at Money in the Bank.
SmackDown featured other noteworthy moments, including #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) defeating A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) to become WWE Tag Team Champions.
However, as the show went off the air, Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline made quite the statement by saying Roman Reigns wasn't man enough to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship or their family's legacy at WrestleMania. According to Soli, this is why he's now Tribal Chief and the man who will dethrone Rhodes.
With that, Soko confidently declared, "If Roman Reigns wants [the Undisputed WWE Championship] back, he can try and take it from me..."
