As promised, NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair appeared during last night's episode of SmackDown on FOX. However, she ended up being interrupted by SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and her friend Sasha Banks, and an argument ensued about who is the best champion.

Charlotte wasn't impressed with Banks and asked if she's her own woman or happy to be Bayley's lackey. This further teased a split between the SmackDown Superstars but it also led to confirmation that Bayley is going to square off with The Queen in a champion vs. champion match next week.

That wasn't the only bout announced for the show, though. It was also revealed that Mandy Rose is going to team up with Money in the Bank winner Otis to face the team of Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville. Meanwhile, the final two first round matches in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament will also take place as RAW's AJ Styles faces Shinsuke Nakamura, and Jeff Hardy finally squares off with Sheamus.

It's looking like a stacked show, and one that should be well worth checking out as WWE starts building to the upcoming Backlash PPV.

for now, check out some highlights from Flair's confrontation with Bayley in the player below:
