According to a report from PW Mania earlier this week, the "Swamp Fight" which will air as part of tonight's Extreme Rules PPV was taped on Thursday night as it's yet another "cinematic match" (something WWE has become extremely good at delivering during the entire COVID-19 pandemic).
Now, WrestlingInc.com has weighed in, and they explain that the match actually took around six or seven hours to shoot, as there were multiple takes of spots shot from a number of angles. The finished product is expected to be somewhere between twenty or thirty minutes long, so it's definitely looking like WWE has pulled out all the stops for this one.
It's also said that the "Swamp Fight" will include a number of reptiles, including a snake and an alligator. Bray Wyatt was reportedly involved heavily from a creative standpoint, and we're sure you'll be relieved to know that Vince McMahon's role in the production was minimal.
Interestingly, the site concludes by reporting that, "For the finish, we were told that it’s something like Jason from Friday The 13th and a horror movie where someone is taken away or disappears. That person will return to continue this feud."
Are you guys excited to see how this one plays out?
