On SmackDown Live last night, Kevin Owens challenged Shane McMahon to a Ladder match where the loser will have to leave WWE. Is Shane picks up the win, Owens is done, while a win for KO means that Vince McMahon's son will be forced to leave the company behind.

As of right now, we don't know whether this bout will take place at Hell in a Cell or next week's premiere of Friday Night SmackDown.

It is, however, being reported that the plan is for Owens to win the match and for McMahon to be phased out from WWE TV. That means Shane will no longer be an authority figure and a big part of that is WWE's plans to present the product as being more sports-like with conclusive finishes and less interference from non-wrestling characters.

What are your thoughts on the potential outcome of this feud?
