During last night's episode of SmackDown Live, WWE promised that we would learn who Roman Reigns would be facing at SummerSlam at the end of the show. Well, that announcement never came and not because the company simply chose not to include that segment in the show!

Instead, something very strange happened when Reigns was making his way to the ring. Some equipment appeared to fall on him, similar to what happened to Vince McMahon around a decade ago.

Luckily for The Big Dog, he managed to emerge from this incident unscathed as the equipment missed him. However, he was left badly shaken and we never found out who was behind this apparent attack. It seems as if someone was out to quite literally kill him and common sense says that his eventual SummerSlam opponent will be the one responsible.

Who could that be? Common sense says it's Samoa Joe but we'll see...
