Sonya Deville And Mandy Rose Will Compete In A "Hair Vs. Hair" Match At SUMMERSLAM

The ongoing rivalry between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will come to a head (no pun intended) at SummerSlam when the former best friends and tag-team partners do battle in a "Hair vs. Hair" match...

Last night on SmackDown, Mandy Rose challenged Sonya Deville to a "Hair vs. Hair" match, and the bout has now been made official for SummerSlam next Sunday.

These former friends and tag-team partners have been at each other's throats (and heads) for quite a while now, but Deville took things to a new level of viciousness when she attacked Rose and cut chunks out of her hair with a scissors a couple of weeks ago.

During last night's show, The Golden Goddess cut a promo on "Daddy Deville," telling her that she wanted her in a match where she had the chance to get a measure of revenge with some snips of her own. Sonya gladly accepted, telling Mandy that she thinks she'll look pretty good bald.

It's been a while since we've seen a Hair vs. Hair match in WWE, but they were a fairly regular occurrence back in the territory days. We don't see Rose getting her head shaved, so our money is on Deville coming up short (again, no pun) here.
