We were sure this match would be saved for Money in the Bank, but former tag-team partners Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville faced-off in a singles match this week on SmackDown, with the latter emerging victorious.
The Golden Goddess' leg was still bandaged up after last week's attack, and The Pride Fighter took full advantage. Rose did mount a comeback, but Deville was able to outsmart her one-time bestie and roll her up for the schoolgirl pin.
Fire and Desire imploded in the buildup to WrestleMania when it was revealed that Deville and Dolph Ziggler had sabotaged Rose's budding relationship with Otis, with the now seemingly unhinged Sonya taking every opportunity to fire shots - both verbal and physical - at Mandy since.
We're sure this isn't the end of their feud, but it does look like the plan is for Deville to come out of this with the bigger push. There's a serious lack of strong heels in the blue brand's Women's Division, and she'd more than suit that role.
How do you guys see this playing out? Let us know in the usual place.
