Sonya Deville Looks Back With Regret Over Not Getting The Chance To Feud With Ronda Rousey In WWE

Sonya Deville was recently interviewed by Ronda Rousey's website, and among the topics that were covered, was who the former MMA star would like to face in WWE in the not too distant future.

"I've wrestled pretty much everyone," she says. "I don't think me and Nattie have ever wrestled. That'd be cool. Yeah. Asuka, Nattie are two I'd like to go into something with. That'd be cool. Obviously, I always say this too."

"Me and Ronda never had our bout in WWE, which I felt was kind of lame," Deville continued. "I was like, 'Wait, you're coming in here, MMA's top fighter. I was WWE's first-ever female MMA fighter.' I thought there was a planted story already there. So I'd love to face Ronda if she came back."

It was definitely a missed opportunity, and the only real interaction they had saw Rousey bury Deville in short order. It's no secret that WWE hasn't given the SmackDown star the push she deserves, but that will hopefully change moving forward.
