Sonya Deville Officially Turns Heel On SMACKDOWN, Setting Up A Feud With Mandy Rose

Sonya Deville asked Mandy Rose to come to the ring on SmackDown so she could "clear the air" about what happened with Otis, but it was all a set-up for a turn, and the end of the Fire and Desire tag-team.

We knew it was coming, of course, but this week on SmackDown, Sonya Deville officially turned heel on her tag-team partner Mandy Rose.

Deville pretended to feel bad about what happened with Otis, and asked Rose down to the ring so she could clear the air. Sonya soon showed her true colors, however, telling Mandy she was the most selfish person she'd ever met for constantly hogging the spotlight. She then revealed that she agreed to help Dolph Ziggler get close to Mandy in exchange for his help getting Fire and Desire more exposure.

When The Showoff came out to the ring to explain himself (he still has feeling for Rose, apparently), Deville took her former friend down with a cheap shot.

We're not crazy about the set-up, but this feud does have a lot of potential. Both Mandy and Sonya are highly underrated in the ring, and the latter finally got the opportunity to display great mic skills during her promo.

If WWE is smart they will use this angle to get both Superstars over in their respective face and heel rolses, but if one has to emerge on top in the early goings, we're hoping it's Sonya.
