Well, this is weird. Starrcast has just filed a trademark for "Dead Man Talking" and before we get any further, it's described as follows:
"Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, providing podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, providing video podcasts in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer."
We know that The Undertaker is using "The Dead Man" for his non-WWE appearances (along with his real name) and it seems as if this trademark has either been registered for a one-off event like a Q&A session (which seems rather odd) or possibly a series of interviews in the form of a podcast.
Considering the fact the legendary WWE Superstar has never really talked out of character, the stories he could tell and the backstage secrets he would be able to spill about The Undertaker would be nothing short of extraordinary. We know that Vince McMahon isn't happy about him appearing at Starrcast II, though, so it will be interesting seeing how this all plays out.
We'll be sure to keep you guys updated but stay tuned for more updates as and when we have them.
