The episodes of RAW and Smackdown after WrestleMania always deliver their fair share of surprises, and after the former featured the return of Cody Rhodes and the debut of Veer Mahaan (and, uh, "Ezekiel"), all eyes are now on the blue brand. According to PWInsider, tomorrow night's episode will see Lacey Evans make her long-anticipated return to television.
She'll be backstage at the show, so nothing is guaranteed, but this feels like the right place to re-debut her.
As you may recall, Evans was among those called up to the main roster when WWE was looking to freshen its shows up. However, she'd soon become embroiled in a divisive storyline with Ric and Charlotte Flair, with the gist being that she was having an affair with the WWE Hall of Famer after he'd turned on her father. It was as awful as it sounds and something fans ended up rejecting.
Evans' pregnancy brought a quick end to that, of course, and she's been on the shelf for over a year now. The WWE Superstar had a healthy child, though, giving birth at home to make sure her first daughter could be there to see her sibling arrive (COVID meant that wouldn't be possible in a hospital setting).
Her last match was in February 2021 in a tag team match which saw her team up with the now released Peyton Royce to battle Charlotte Flair and Asuka.
