SPOILERS: A Major Title Changes Hands On The Christmas Day Edition Of SMACKDOWN LIVE

Last night, WWE taped the Christmas Day edition of SmackDown Live and while you might think that means the company would phone things in, something big happened during the show's main event.

Rusev finally got his shot at United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and despite the appaling build to this bout (the King of Strong Style used a series of clips from Total Divas to brand the Bulgarian Brute a "Total Diva" yesterday), it had a satisfying ending when Rusev finally managed to win the title!

We don't have specifics on how the match played out but Nakamura's run as champion has been very underwhelming due to the way he's been booked and Rusev with the title is definitely more exciting.

What do you guys think? As always, share your thoughts on this news in the comments section below.
