After being repeatedly rumored for a WWE return over the past few years, it looks like Stacey Kiebler might be set to become the first female inductee into this year's Hall of Fame.
According to PWInsiderElite.com, the company is said to be “very close” to finalizing a deal with Keibler, but nothing has been finalized just yet.
Could Stacey be the individual Mick Foley was referring to when he revealed that an old friend reached out to ask if he'd induct them? We know they were close back when they both worked in WWE, so it's certainly possible.
Kiebler debuted in WCW as Miss Hancock back in 2000, before making the jump to WWE after Vince McMahon bought the company. She was very rarely utilized as an in-ring talent, and mainly served as a manager/valet. Stacey was still one of the most popular Divas of the "Attitude Era," however.
So far, Rey Mysterio is the only confirmed class of 2023 inductee, but Japanese legend The Great Muta is also rumoured. Keep an eye out for updates.
