Stephanie McMahon Apologizes To Ronda Rousey On RAW... Right Before Triple H Sucker Punches Kurt Angle

It looks like the stage is now set for that mixed tag-team match at WrestleMania, as Raw went off the air with GM Kurt Angle nursing a sore head after Triple H laid him out with a punch. More past the jump...

A far more determined-looking Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring tonight on Raw to confront Stephanie McMahon for slapping her at the Elimination Chamber PPV last night, but was interrupted by Kurt Angle before she could put a hand to her.

Angle told Rousey that he lied about what Steph and Triple H had said about her because he was delusional with "double pneumonia". The Rowdy One seemed to buy it, but demanded an apology from Stephanie for the slap before they could all move forward. The Raw Commissioner did say sorry, but right afterwards Triple H sucker punched Angle and left him laying in the ring.

It's clear that the writers are trying to come up with a semi-believable excuse to get these four into that tag match, but most of this angle feels very forced. On a more positive Note, Ronda was much better on the mic, and seemed a lot more confident overall.
