We knew someone was going to end up on the wrong end of a Stone Cold Stunner tonight on
Raw, and that someone turned out to be Byron Saxton.
Steve Austin made his way to the ring to cut a promo about 3:16 Day, which has now been confirmed as a "national holiday," and as he listed off a series of points to explain to fans what the day was all about, Saxton held up cards to rate each one. After, Austin invited Byron to the ring to celebrate with a couple of Steveweisers, and the inevitable happened.
Becky Lynch then joined Stone Cold in the ring, and drank more than a few beers with the legendary Hall of Famer.
This was a fun segment for the most part, but parts of it did feel quite awkward with the lack of crowd response. Everyone involved did the best they could with what they had to work with,but if this is to be the norm for the next few weeks, WWE might want to think about refining certain aspects of the show to better suit the empty arena.
