Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35 would be a downright amazing match and rumour has it that that's just one of many ideas being considered by WWE right now. It's hard to think of two better women in the company to headline the show but with both women currently serving as babyfaces, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has now weighed in with his thoughts.
For starters, he thinks that there needs to be a heel in the match (no arguments there) and that it should be Charlotte because the daughter of Ric Flair ultimately fits that role so much better.
"Charlotte is a defined heel. We know she’s a heel. We’re pushing her as a heel. We’re booking her as a heel. Yeah, to me, she has a defined role. She’s totally confident in either one, but I think she’s more comfortable as a heel. And that’s not from me talking to her. That’s from me guessing that she’s more comfortable as a heel, but she’s going to do whatever they ask of her."
"Boy, that has the potential to be a hell of a main event," he continues, "but then you’ve got two babies [babyfaces]. Would you go two babies or would you make sure Charlotte’s a heel because Ronda needs to be the baby?" It's a valid point and it would be smart of WWE to create this heel/babyface dynamic.
