Stone Cold Steve Austin Reveals Whether Edge's Return Has Inspired Him To Step Back Into A WWE Ring

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently reviewed the Royal Rumble PPV on his podcast and upon being asked whether Edge's return has inspired him to wrestle again, he gave an open and honest answer.

During this week's The Steve Austin Show, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin shared his thoughts on Sunday's Royal Rumble PPV and talked about what it was like to see Edge step back into the squared circle after he was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to a neck injuy.

After praising Edge's performance in the match, Austin was asked if he would consider following his example and it doesn't sound like he has any interest in putting his health on the line for another match.

"No, whatever Edge is doing has nothing to do with me," Austin laughed. "I'm done. I've said I'm done. And I wish that dude all the luck in the world. When I see a guy whose had a similar kind of neck situation as I had or just neck surgery in general, and to leave the business when he did 9 years ago and then come back, I think I'm like, 'man, okay, be careful out there!'"

It really does appear as if the door is closed on Austin wrestling again which is a shame but not exactly surprising as he's never really expressed a desire in doing so despite revealing last year that he believes he's healthy enough to step back into the squared circle.

Are you guys disappointed or do you see where he's coming from?
