Tag-Team Match Added To STOMPING GROUNDS: Xavier Woods & Big E Will Take On Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Big E has wanted to get his hands on Kevin Owens ever since he betrayed his New Day brothers, and he'll get the chance at Stomping Grounds when he teams with Xavier Woods to take on KO and Sami Zayn...

It just goes to show how disappointing the Stomping Grounds card is shaping up to be when arguably the most exciting match to be announced is a non-title tag-team bout.

WWE has revealed that New Day members Big E and Xavier Woods will take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at the PPV this Sunday.

There's a lot of potential for a great tag-match here, and if WWE is smart (yes, it's a long-shot), the storyline involving an injured E chomping at the bit to get his hands on KO after he betrayed Kofi and took out Woods will come in to play during the bout.

The current, and most likely final unless more matches are added tonight on SmackDown, Stomping Grounds card reads as follows:

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Baron Corbin (Universal Championship)

Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler (Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship)

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans (Raw Women’s Championship)

Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss (Smackdown Women’s Championship)

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Ricochet (United States Championship)

Big E & Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
