WWE Champion AJ Styles will defend his title against Daniel Bryan at the Crown Jewel PPV but the two were forced to team up last night when they were pitted against The Usos to kick off SmackDown 1000. While they initially made a somewhat decent team (despite the leader of the Yes Movement interrupting The Phenomenal One's entrance), things quickly broke down.

That came after Bryan inadvertently punched his teammate only for Styles to then receive a superkick. Bryan quickly found himself on the receiving end of a double superkick from The Usos and they walked away with the victory as a result. What followed was a tense staredown between the WWE Champion and his challenger and it's easy to imagine things only getting worse from here!
