The 24/7 Title Changed Hands Several Times On RAW, But R-Truth Ultimately Escaped With The Gold

There was more 24/7 Championship shenanigans on Raw this week, with the title changing hands several times in a matter of minutes. In the end, though, R-Truth still managed to escape with the gold...

R-Truth is still the 24/7 Champion... but only just.

Truth and Carmella were guests on Miz TV, and after Drake Maverick made his way to the ring to request a match, Truth agreed ("okay, Horsnwaggle, let's do this!") and defeated him almost immediately. However, several Superstars attempted to seize the opportunity to pin Truth when the match was over, and the title did switch hands a number of times.

First Heath Slater, then Truth again, followed by Cedric Alexander, and finally EC3. Poor Ethan Carter the 3rd (we assume that's still his kayfabe name?) didn't have much time to bask in the glory, though, because a Carmella distraction allowed Truth to pin him and escape with the championship.

Once again, a very entertaining segment - but there's a chance this could start to get a little repetitive unless WWE changes things up a bit soon and maybe has a few more actual matches to determine the 24/7 Champion in future.
