In their first tag team match together since January, The Authors of Pain finally returned to action at Monday's SmackDown live event in Glen Falls, New York. Unfortunately, the formidable former NXT Tag Team Champions ended up losing to Matt Hardy and Ali.

While they're still listed as RAW Superstars on WWE.com, it's thought that they will be moved to SmackDown Live when the return to WWE TV.

Akam and Rezar were last seen on June 7th in the 50-man Battle Royal at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia. They were in a spot with The Viking Raiders and Heavy Machinery which saw them get eliminated and has had no pay off since. The reason we haven't seen them for a while is because Akam had to have knee surgery back in January.

Rezar was working singles matches during that period and got on quite the winning streak on Main Event. With any luck, we'll see them back in action soon.
