This week's episode of WWE Backstage featured an appearance from Nikki and Brie Bella as they discussed their induction into the WWE Hall of Fame during this year's WrestleMania weekend. During their interview, The Bella Twins revealed that it was Vince McMahon who called them to break the news.

"It's funny when Nikki and I got the call, Vince [McMahon] called us both," Brie explained. "We saw his missed call and my first reaction was, 'Nikki, what did you say in the press?' We thought we were in trouble, we called Vince back, together, and when he told us, we were shocked, 'What? This year?'"

"When you've worked hard for so long and have fought for so many things and have the one man who you not only look up to so much, but also gave you incredible opportunity," Nikki responded. "To have him call and - Vince said the sweetest things."

She didn't elaborate on what those were, but you can hear their comments in the player below. While some fans have found fault with the decision to have The Bella Twins go into the WWE Hall of Fame, they accomplished a lot in their respective careers, and are undeniably worthy.
