Last night's SmackDown didn't feature appearances from Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, or Kevin Owens, but there were still plenty of big talking points from the blue brand's latest episode.

In the main event, The Bloodline (Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).

It was an action-packed, memorable Ladder match which saw both babyface teams come close to winning before Loa, with an assist from Tonga, managed to pull the belts down.

As a result, The Bloodline stood tall heading into today's Bad Blood PLE.

Elsewhere in the show, AJ Styles returned to SmackDown and ended up in a match with rising star Carmelo Hayes. During the bout, Styles appeared to injure his foot and the referee later called the match off.

While it was being sold as a legitimate injury, many fans believe this is part of an ongoing storyline about the Phenomenal One being near the end of his in-ring WWE career.

Michin beat Chelsea Green in a fun Dumpster match and Tiffany Stratton once again teased a cash in on WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax ahead of her title defence against Bayley tonight.

Check out some highlights from SmackDown in the X posts below and check back here later for the biggest Bad Blood updates.

At this point it would be more surprising if Tiffany actually cashes in on Liv than keeping the back & forth teasing with Nia Jax.
