The Bludgeon Brothers Are The Latest WWE Superstars To Lose Their First Names

The Bludgeon Brothers made their debut on SmackDown Live this past Tuesday in a match which saw them bury The Hype Bros. With that comes the news that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have lost their first names!

After over a month of vignettes, the Bludgeon Brothers finally made their debut on SmackDown Live. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have obviously been around for a while (previous as members of The Wyatt Family and then as each other's enemies) but their gimmick has received something of a shakeup and they're both sporting some very different - Deadpool-esque - ring gear.

What comes next for these two remains to be seen but the signs are pointing to them ultimately clashing with The Fashion Police and they could end up being a pretty dominant tag team.

As well as having new entrance music, ring gear, and finishers, the duo will now be known simply as Harper and Rowan. This really isn't that big of a deal, though, as that's actually how they've been referred to on WWE programming for a while now and the Bludgeon Brothers join a group which includes Antonio Cesaro, Alexander Rusev, Adrian Neville, Big E Langston, and Elias Samson.
