According to Dave Meltzer, the confrontation between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar during Monday's
RAW was supposed to have a much different ending. Apparently, it was The Beast who was supposed to come out of the segment looking strong but just before the show started, plans changed.
"It was a Vince call and it was the right call," Meltzer explains. "It was a good move because it’s been portrayed like Lesnar will blow by Rollins on Sunday so the segment on Monday may have helped to sway some fans into believing that Rollins has a chance to win." Previously, Lesnar has easily overpowered Rollins so things do feel a tad more even now.
The Universal Championship will be on the line when they clash at
WrestleMania but seeing as Lesnar is expected to stick around until a show in Saudi Arabia next month, there's no guarantee that he'll lose the title to Rollins. How do you see things playing out? Let us know in the comments section.
