The Core Members Of Retribution Were Finally Unmasked (Kinda) And Given Silly New Names On RAW

The five core members of Retribution removed their hoods on this week's episode of Raw, and while they still had Bane-like masks on underneath, the identities of the Superstars were clear to see...

So, WWE really seems to be going with the concept that Retribution is made up of new Superstars, and not well-know faces we've been seeing on NXT for the past few years.

Last night on Raw, the core 5 members of the faction removed their hoods only to reveal various Bane and Mad Max-influenced masks. Despite the fact that these guys are clearly Dominik Dijakovic, Dio Maddin, Shane Thorne, Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez, it looks like teh company is actually planning to fully rebrand them with all-new identies.

We still don't know what names the ladies have taken, but the three lads are now known as T-BAR (Dijakovic), Slapjack (Thorne) and Mace (Maddin).

Surely the entire premise of this new stable should be that they're established wrestlers who are sick of being held down and underused? How does Vince McMahon (or whoever came up with this brainfart) not see that allowing them to hold on to their original personas only benefits the entire concept?

At any rate, Retribution revealed that they now have WWE contacts (how?) and are going to cause chaos etc etc. The three guys faced The Hurt Business in the main event, and the ref called for the DQ for some stupid reason, the hooded minions (yes, it's all very Dark Order tbh) swarmed the ring.

This brought out Drew McIntyre and the babyfaces, but Randy Orton seized the opportunity to land an RKO on his Clash of Champions opponent as the show went off the air.
