The Final Viewership Numbers For Friday's SMACKDOWN Have Been Revealed Following John Cena's Return

The final numbers are in for Friday night's SmackDown, and it's been revealed that the show drew a total of 2.687 million viewers. This is down from the overnight viewership number we got on Saturday morning (which was an average of 2.717 million viewers).

Despite that, this is still an 8% increase from the previous week's instalment, so WWE is likely happy with these numbers. As well as John Cena's return to the blue brand, SmackDown also featured Universal Champion Goldberg being challenged by Roman Reigns to defend his title at WrestleMania

SmackDown drew a 0.8 rating in the key 18 - 49 demographic, and it was #8 for the night in terms of viewership. It came in behind Hawaii Five-0, MacGyver, Blue Bloods, Shark Tank, 20/20, Lincoln Rhyme, and Dateline.
