There's been a lot of speculation about the future of 205 Live and we may finally have an answer about what comes next for the Cruiserweights. According to PW Insider, it will simply move to Friday nights on the WWE Network once Friday Night SmackDown goes off the air.

This debunks reports that the show had been cancelled or that filming would move to Full Sail University moving forward.

It also means that WWE will likely continue facing the problem of having fans leave the building once SmackDown ends for the Cruiserweights to then compete in a mostly empty building. Interestingly, 205 Live Superstars will indeed continue appearing in NXT and that brand's creative team is now in charge of the show which may bode well for it.

Time will tell on that front but expect next week's episode to air immediately after Friday Night SmackDown's FOX debut.
