The "Glorious" Bobby Roode Returned To RAW To Challenge Drew McIntyre For The WWE Championship

There have been rumblings about Bobby Roode making his WWE return for a while now, and the "Glorious" Superstar returned to RAW last night to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Check it out...

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre issued an open challenge during last night's RAW, and much to the surprise of fans...Dolph Ziggler answered! Of course, he wasn't eligible to compete after having been beaten by McIntyre earlier this year, but it was then that he brought out a "glorious" friend: Bobby Roode.

It seems he's returned to his previous persona after being known as "Robert Roode" for a while, and what followed was a solid, entertaining main event which brought back memories of their NXT clash.

As you might expect, Ziggler continuously interfered in the match, and a Glorious DDT looked like it was going to put McIntyre away for the 1-2-3. After blocking a second DDT, the WWE Champion ducked a clothesline and hit the Claymore for the win.

It remains to be seen where things will go for Roode from here, especially as it seems WWE is pairing him up with Ziggler again (which isn't exactly what anyone really wants to see from them after their lengthy partnership). With any luck, he'll get a singles run instead of being stuck in a tag team again.

What do you guys think?
