Tonight is the final show before the Royal Rumble.
The go-home show for the annual pay-per-view will feature plenty of previews and a title match that could be Michin’s last opportunity at the Women’s U.S. Championship. Michin is 0 - 2 when it comes to title matches against Chelsea Green. Though the Smackdown star has had to deal with Piper Niven, Michin is going into her third shot sharp and well prepared for the dynamic duo.
Chelsea Green is currently on a roll since winning the Women’s U.S. title at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but Michin does hold a big victory over the 33-year-old in a dumpster match. Can Michin finally get the better of Chelsea and Piper and win the U.S. title?
Last Saturday, Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman ended in a disqualification, but Fatu was the only man who walked out of the arena that night. Jacob Fatu and The Bloodline 2.0 have been on a tear since Solo Sikoa lost his bid as Tribal Chief during RAW’s Netflix debut. Will Fatu and The Bloodline 2.0 cause any more destruction tonight?
In a huge ladder match, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes will go one-on-one for the WWE Undisputed Championship at the Royal Rumble. The past two months have been filled with insults and fighting between the two men, so it’s a great thing that they will finally be able to settle their differences. However, Sami Zayn shocked the masses this past week by giving Cody the Helluva kick. How will Cody respond to the latest development and will Sami play a part in the final showdown between Cody and Kevin Owens?
Two weeks ago, Jimmy Uso and Carmelo Hayes had a match that went to a no contest due to the Bloodline 2.0. While the possibility of the faction ruining this match again still looms, Jimmy and Carmelo will be focused on getting some serious momentum before heading into the Rumble this Saturday.
