Much to the delight of wrestling fans, The IIconics won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at
WrestleMania but it took no time at all for reports to surface about Sasha Banks and Bayley being unhappy about that. It was said that they were lying on the locker room floor after the match and Banks has even walked out of WWE due to losing the titles and being split from Bayley.
We still don't know how accurate those claims are but Billie Kay and Peyton Royce have now weighed in on those claims.
"Immediately after the match we were all in tears, all crying," the latter says. "Just filled with emotion, we got pictures together which we then posted on our Instagram."
"I mean, I know there's all these rumors going around and we didn't see anything. Everyone was super happy and excited for us. The rumors to us is [that] we didn't see anything that we're hearing."
"Yeah, we don't really pay attention to rumors or social media and all that kind of stuff in that aspect," Kay added. "We had a great experience with them and it holds a really special place in our hearts. You can find them [pictures], we're all embracing each other."
If it is true that Banks was angry about not being given a decent run with the titles (she wanted to defend them across RAW, SmackDown Live, and in NXT), then it's doubtful she would have taken those frustrations out on The IIconics and the team probably don't want to comment on her dealings with WWE and get in trouble as a result.
Whatever the case may be, we'll keep you guys updated.
