There's been tension in The Judgement Day for several weeks now, but last night's RAW may have finally seen the faction get back on the same page.
The show opened with Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley hitting the ring, though Señor Money in the Bank questioned why Finn Balor wasn't alongside them. That led to JD McDonagh coming out, relaying a message to The Judgement Day on Balor's behalf.
He told them not to worry about his and Finn's friendship and to focus on dealing with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn. None of them appreciated that, but it was at that moment Zayn hit the ring to attack JD.
A match followed which, despite Balor's interference, still went the way of the Undisputed Tag Team Champion.
Backstage, the group appeared to make amends before the main event which saw Balor square off with Rhodes. The Judgement Day got involved, but when Priest slid his briefcase to Balor, it went through the heel's legs and straight into Cody's hands.
With that, the American Nightmare won the match, though The Judgement Day and JD McDonagh ended RAW by laying waste to the babyfaces so they could stand tall as the show went off the air.
Will JD now join The Judgement Day and is Balor going to turn on Priest after recent tensions between the two men? It certainly feels like we could be heading that way, but this is also shaping up to be another slow-burn storyline from WWE (which definitely isn't a bad thing).
