Just five years ago, Shinsuke Nakamura was wrestling all around New Japan Pro Wrestling continuing to make a name for himself.
Nakamura is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, five-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion and a one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion (with Hiroshi Tanahashi). He is also the youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion in history, having won the title for the first time at the age of 23.
Fast forward to the Royal Rumble 2018, where "The Artist" outlasted names such as Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Rey Mysterio in order to become the first ever Japanese born wrestler to win the Royal Rumble.
