As we told you yesterday, AJ Styles suffered what is believed to be a separated shoulder after taking a Spear from Edge during the Royal Rumble match. It was no one's fault but Styles flipping over in the air to sell the move is what seemingly led to him landing badly.

Now, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Styles is going to need time off and that there's a chance he could end up missing this year's WrestleMania as a result.

WWE is said to be hopeful that the former United States Champion will be back in time for the Show of Shows but things aren't looking great right now and this couldn't come at a worse time for the Phenomenal One. There's currently no word on what WWE has/had planned for Styles at the PPV.

WWE has yet to comment so Styles is presumably undergoing tests to see what's wrong and we'll hopefully hear more soon.
