Last night, WWE announced that WrestleMania will air as a two-night event (we later heard that it would be from multiple locations). Now, PW Insider has shared some additional details, and note that the reason for the Show of Shows taking place in multiple locations is to stop it from looking too monotonous in the empty WWE Performance Center.
Interestingly, WWE.com is now listing matches for each night, and it sounds like WWE is definitely going to limit the number of bouts taking place on the Grandest Stage of Them All this year. As you can see, there's currently four scheduled for Saturday, and three scheduled for Sunday.
SATURDAY, APRIL 4
- Drew McIntyre vs. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar
- Charlotte Flair vs. WWE NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley
- The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
- Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
SUNDAY, APRIL 5
- Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg
- Shayna Baszler vs. RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch
- John Cena vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
Common sense says that the Last Man Standing match featuring Randy Orton vs. Edge will take place on Sunday night, and during this week's NXT, Triple H noted that this year's WrestleMania will be like nothing we've ever seen before and one to remember. It's certainly shaping up to be that way, of course, and this is definitely an interest approach on WWE's part.
What do you guys think?
