The Miz And John Morrison Will Challenge The New Day For The SMACKDOWN Tag Team Titles At SUPER SHOWDOWN

During last night's SmackDown, there was a number one contender's match to decide who will challenge The New Day for the tag team titles at Super ShowDown and The Miz and John Morrison picked up the win!

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live kicked off with a Fatal 4-Way match pitting John Morrison and The Miz against Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, and The Revival. The winner would earn a shot at The New Day's SmackDown Tag Team Championships at next month's Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

It was an exciting contest with some big spots but Morrison ultimately managed to pick up the win by hitting the Starship Pain on The Revival's Scott Dawson in order to pick up the 1-2-3.

Honestly, this wasn't remotely surprising as Morrison and The Miz have been feuding with Kofi Kingston and Big E for weeks now and a championship match between the two teams has felt like an inevitability since that started.

Check out some highlights from the match below:
