They're an unlikely pairing and fans remained convinced that one of them will ultimately turn heel but during last night's Royal Rumble PPV, Shane McMahon and The Miz defeated Sheamus and Cesaro to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions and earn their best in the world moniker.

The win came after The Miz took out Sheamus with a Skull Crushing Finale and Shane unexpectedly performed a Shooting Star Press on Cesaro to win the titles. Both men then celebrated with The Miz's father at ringside and it's obviously going to be very interesting seeing how things play out now.

Whether or not a heel turn is on the horizon for either man remain to be seen but they're not SmackDown Tag Team Champions and that's bound to shake up the blue brand moving forward.
