Rumours have swirled that WWE has been trying to come up with a way to get the Money in the Bank briefcase away from Otis for months, and the best creative minds in the business finally figured out how to do it: a comedy court case with Judge JBL ruling that Otis would have to put his contract on the line in a match with The Miz at Hell in a Cell.

The bout was your typical back-and-forth affair, with Otis using his power to keep Miz down for most of their encounter. Just as it looked like the big guy had things in the bag, he was betrayed by his Heavy Machinery tag team partner Tucker, who whacked him in the head with the MITB briefcase. Miz then pinned his opponent, officially become Mr. Money in the Bank in the process.

Backstage, Tucker blamed Otis for hogging the limelight and ultimately splitting up the team. There was a quick scuffle between the two before the ref's stepped in.

So, The Miz can now challenge for either the WWE or Universal Championship at any time over the next year. Awesome?
