At WrestleMania, John Morrison defended the SmackDown Tag Team Championships against Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso in a Ladder match. Ultimately, Morrison and The Miz retained the titles, but the latter was forced to put them on the line again during last night's episode of SmackDown.

In this follow-up match, he had to defend them against Big E and Jey Uso, and the idea was that those who didn't wrestle at the Show of Shows would get the chance to do so this week after the other three Superstars represented their respective teams at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The Miz had Jey Uso in the Figure Four, but Big E broke that up and hit the Big Ending on the A-Lister for the 1-2-3. Kingston was shown celebrating at home, and The New Day are now eight-time Tag Team Champions. The question is, what does this mean for The Miz and Morrison?

Many fans would like to see the latter as a singles star, so we'll have to wait and see how that plays out!
