Super Show-Down kicked off with The New Day defending the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships against The Bar. It was an exciting back and forth match between the two teams but Cesaro and Sheamus failed to win the titles from the team of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (Big E remained at ringside but Kingston and Woods make for a fun duo in the ring and rarely compete together).

After Cesaro attempted to earn the 1-2-3 by putting his feet on the ropes, Kofi hit the Trouble on Paradise on Sheamus and an impressive double team move ended up winning the match for The New Day.

It remains to be seen who the next challengers for the team's titles will be but Sanity hasn't been seen for a while now so that's one possibility. Another match with The Bar would also be no bad thing and seeing as there's still quite some time to go until the next PPV, we could see that continue to play out on SmackDown Live over the coming weeks. What did you guys think of this opening match?
