The New Day Implodes On RAW As Women's WarGames Is Shaken Up And A New Women's Title Is Introduced

WWE has been teasing issues between The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for several weeks now, with that tension reaching a boiling point during last night's RAW.

Despite seemingly being on the same page ahead of next Monday's 10-year-anniversary celebration of the tag team, Woods immediately tagged himself into his and Kingston's match against Alpha Academy, leading to a quick loss for the duo.

They argued all the way backstage, throwing some nasty barbs at each other; among those was them taking credit for the other's success and Woods even bringing up Kingston's six-second WWE Championship loss to Brock Lesnar.

Either Big E will return on RAW next week to get them back on the right track or this is the end of The New Day as we know it.

Elsewhere in the show, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Damian Priest once again clashed ahead of their match at Survivor Series: WarGames and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser official for the upcoming PLE.

Talking of that title, Pearce also unveiled the new Women's Intercontinental Championship.

There was more WarGames build after we learned Jade Cargill is injured and can't compete in the match. After some backstage arguments, the main event saw Bianca Belair and Nia Jax squaring off to decide which team gets the advantage.

Thanks to an unexpected assist from Bayley, the EST picked up the win and it appears she will now take place Cargill's place on the babyface team at Survivor Series: WarGames
