The New Day Is Considering Quitting WWE After Kofi Kingston Was Screwed On SMACKDOWN LIVE Last Night

A new backstage interview featuring The New Day reveals that the team is considering walking away from WWE after Vince McMahon once again screwed Kofi Kingston out of his WrestleMania opportunity...

During last night's episode of SmackDown Live, Kofi Kingston ran the Gauntlet and defeated everyone who was put in his way to earn a shot at WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania

Unfortunately, it was then that Vince McMahon announced that Kingston would have to also take down Bryan and while he came close, a running knee put an end to The New Day member's dreams. Now, in a backstage video released by WWE, we see Big E and Xavier Woods attempting to convince Kofi that it's time to leave WWE and go somewhere they won't be held back.

While this is obviously just storyline based, it's clear this storyline isn't over yet and it will be interesting seeing what the fallout is on next week's episode. As always, stay tuned for further updates.
