We recently heard a rumor that WWE was planning on pushing The New Day as multiple-time tag champs, and that now seems evident after Big E and Kofi Kingston (Xavier Woods stayed backstage) managed to beat The Usos for their titles on tonight's installment of Smackdown Live.

Jimmy and Jey actually picked the Sin City Street Fight stipulation last week, and although they did dominate the early goings, it eventually came back to haunt them when New Day stepped up their aggression and pinned Jimmy with The Midnight Hour after putting his brother through a table.

This was yet another terrific match for these teams, so hopefully this isn't the end of the feud - although might need another tandem to get involved at some point just to keep things fresh. Breezango, anyone?
