WWE has announced that The New Day will clash with The Viking Experience during tonight's episode of RAW.

This will be the first time the two teams have squared off and WWE is teasing that we could see WWE Champion Kofi Kingston as part of the match. "Which two members of The New Day will square off against the gargantuan unit of Erik & Ivar in what is easily the biggest opportunity of their tenure on Raw thus far?" the company asks in the article announcing the news.

Ultimately, common sense says that it will be Big E and Xavier Woods who clash with the former NXT Champions, especially now that Samoa Joe is taking aim at Kingston.

Rumour has it that The New Day will challenge The Revival for the RAW Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules so this bout could be a way of leading to that as well. WWE has also announced that Braun Strowman will take on Bobby Lashley in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
