Thanks to some help from Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn has taken Braun Strowman's place in the Money in the Bank ladder match and a reason for the change has now seemingly been revealed...

Braun Strowman was one of the favourites heading into Sunday's Money in the Bank ladder match but during Monday night's episode of RAW, the Monster Among Men lost his place in that bout when Sami Zayn defeated him in a Falls Count Anywhere match. 

Now, Dave Meltzer has shed some light on what happened and it's said that while the Monster Among Men is injured, it's not bad enough that he needs to take time off. 

Instead, there's said to be a larger storyline at play for Strowman which will address why he's missed the opportunity to become the Monster in the Bank for the second time. Unfortunately, it appears as if the plan for him will be to feud with Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin, a rather stale storyline which doesn't look set to be the highlight of RAW.

However, there's a chance WWE could surprise us so we'll see...
