According to an exclusive report from
Fightful.com, The Revival’s time in the WWE might be coming to an end soon. The report makes it clear that it’s pure speculation, but apparently officials are fearful that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are finishing up with the company.
It’s unknown if the former NXT Tag Team champions have asked for their releases, but the article states that they have,
"reason to be very fearful that The Revival are done or finishing up with the company" after a situation unfolded at WWE Raw.
BodySlam.Net backed up Fightful's report by claiming that the RAW tag team has indeed asked for their release.
Ever since showing up on the main roster, The Revival haven’t been able to have the success they did down in the developmental brand.
The RAW tag team was first plagued by injuries and then ultimately WWE booking. Dawson and Wilder have voiced their frustrations with their position in the company previously:
Back in December during the whole Lucha House Party/The Revival “feud”, Matt Jackson published an interesting tweet stating that one day they’ll wrestle the Revival.
Since The Bucks won’t be coming to the WWE anytime soon, speculation could point to the Revival showing up to AEW once their contracts expires. It’s currently unknown when The Revival’s contract ends with WWE, but the booking of the former NXT Tag Team champions in the coming months should be very interesting.
