The Shield Reunited One Last Time To Bid Farewell To Dean Ambrose As RAW Went Off The Air

Despite massive speculation that Dean Ambrose would ultimately decide to stay in WWE and sign a new contract, the Lunatic Fringe had his final match on Raw last night against Bobby Lashley.

The bout itself was largely underwhelming, with The Almighty One putting Ambrose through the announce table after a brief tussle. This would have been a terrible way to say goodbye to the former WWE Champion, but when the show went off the air, Seth Rollins asked his former Shield brothers to join him in the ring for a final farewell.

Dean thanked his fans, his friends, and told a couple of amusing anecdotes before joining Roman and Seth in one last Hounds of Justice fist-bump salute.

So long, Dean, and best of luck with whatever you decide to do next. Hopefully we will see you in a WWE ring again at some point.
