If you need further proof that John Cena's star is on the rise, look no further than the fact he was Jimmy Fallon's first in-person guest on last night's The Tonight Show. He was there to talk about his series of children's books, Elbow Grease.
Talking about his "Never Give Up" catchphrase in WWE, Cena explained how that ultimately helped inspire his work as an author. However, it was then that The Suicide Squad star dropped some hints about whether he has an in-ring future now he's becoming a Hollywood A-Lister.
"With Elbow Grease books, I have a very young audience in WWE," he explained. "A lot of kids, a lot of families, and as my in-ring career is not as active, it’s not over, but it’s not as active. I wanted to continue to send messaging to those younger viewers because so many times parents have said ‘your ‘Never Give Up’ words have helped my son or daughter."
The last time we saw Cena was during the memorable Firefly Funhouse match, but it's unclear when we might see him back in WWE, especially as he has so many acting commitments on the horizon.
As always, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated!
